THE BEGINNING >
Designing the whole experience.
My background had never stayed neatly inside one discipline. I had worked across fashion, product and lighting design, photography, branding and visual storytelling—each one shaping how I thought about concept, composition, materials and the emotional impact of design.
Couture Ever After became the place where those disciplines converged. I led the creative direction from initial concept and visual identity through environmental design, custom fabrication, styling and the final guest experience. Every touchpoint became part of one cohesive story—an approach that turned individual design decisions into a complete, immersive brand experience.

THE BRAND >
A brand built to be remembered.
Couture Ever After was built on the belief that extraordinary experiences should feel as individual as the people they're created for.
I developed the brand from the ground up, from its identity and digital presence to the visual storytelling that communicated its promise. Rather than relying on traditional advertising, the business grew through social media, bridal events, and personal referrals, with the work itself becoming its most compelling form of marketing.

THE EXECUTION >
From imagination to an entirely different world.
Delivering on that promise meant going far beyond traditional event design. Each project required translating an idea into an environment guests could step inside, often involving custom fabrication, technical problem-solving and teams working across multiple creative disciplines.
For one production, that meant bringing the world of Pirates of the Caribbean to life with a custom-built Black Pearl-inspired ship—turning an ambitious concept into a fully realized environment.

THE CREATIVE LEADERSHIP >
From an idea on paper to a world you could step inside.
The most ambitious ideas required me to move constantly between creative vision and execution. I developed the concept, established the visual direction, designed individual elements and then led the people responsible for bringing them to life.
That meant translating an idea across disciplines—fabrication, styling, wardrobe, photography and production—while making hundreds of decisions along the way without losing the original vision. The work wasn't finished when something looked beautiful. Every element had to belong to the same world.
01_ IMAGINE IT >

Concept development began on paper—establishing character, wardrobe, materials and the visual language of the world before production began.
02_ BUILD IT >

Turning the concept into something physical meant directing fabrication, solving problems in real time and keeping multiple contributors aligned around the same visual target.
03_ BRING IT TO LIFE >

Once the environment and wardrobe came together, I directed the final styling and imagery—carrying the original concept all the way through to the finished photograph.
THE SCALE
Over 8 years, the vision got bigger.
So did the responsibility.
As Couture Ever After grew, the work expanded from intimate celebrations into large-scale weddings, corporate events, galas and immersive environments. I wasn't simply responsible for how they looked—I was leading the creative vision across significant budgets, complex production teams and dozens of partners, while building a business whose reputation depended on delivering something exceptional every time.

THE BRAND >
The work became the marketing.
I developed original editorial concepts that brought together photography, styling, wardrobe, sets and location to create the imagery that defined the brand. That imagery gave prospective clients a window into what was possible, while standout client experiences generated their own momentum through sharing, referrals and word of mouth.
01
CREATE DESIRE
Original editorial shoots became one of Couture Ever After's most important marketing tools. I developed concepts and visual direction designed to show prospective clients not only what we had created—but what was possible.

02
MAKE IT WORTH SHARING
The experiences themselves became content. Distinctive environments gave clients, guests and creative partners something worth photographing, sharing and talking about—allowing the work to continually introduce Couture Ever After to new audiences.

03
EARN ATTENTION
Remarkable work traveled beyond our own audience. A Couture Ever After project ultimately reached national television, with TODAY's Sheinelle Jones highlighting the experience and recognizing my work on air.
THE IMPACT >
More than beautiful events. A brand people remembered.
Couture Ever After became a laboratory for the kind of creative leadership I do best: seeing the larger possibility, building a clear visual world around it, and bringing together people, disciplines and details to make that world real.
Across eight years, I moved between brand building, creative direction, environmental design, editorial imagery and large-scale production—learning how to protect a creative idea while navigating the very practical realities required to execute it. The result was work that generated referrals, earned national attention and, most importantly, gave people experiences they remembered.
